Wolverine pays all application, test, course, certification, and renewal fees for the credentials that make you better at this work.

  • CBT training with the Beck InstituteEvery employee who works with youth is trained through the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Master’s-level therapists can pursue an internal CBT certification track with the Beck Institute and the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.
  • CAADC and JSOT tracksBachelor’s and Master’s qualified mental health staff are eligible for the internal Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor track, approved by MCBAP. Master’s-level staff can earn Juvenile Sex Offender Treatment certification.
  • First Aid, CPR, TCI, and Youth Mental HealthProfessional development includes First Aid and CPR, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, and Youth Mental Health certifications and renewals, on us.
  • Modern toolsNoble Child, our Salesforce-based child welfare platform, means less paper and more time with kids. Drive-thru interviews and on-site hiring events make getting started easy.

  • Vassar campus. Residential treatment in the Thumb, with four programs, on-site school, and the largest team.
  • Detroit, Wolverine Center. East-side residential campus and community center.
  • Taylor, Flint, and Warren. Community-based offices for foster care licensing, adoption, and independent living.
  • Agency-wide. Finance, IT, HR, marketing, development, and quality improvement.
